My No Spend Month Challenge is almost over. I put in 66 hours at work and cant wait for that paycheck! I would say Week Three went great! The farther that I get into the month, the more I find myself slipping up or at least considering it. Week Three was way harder than I expected it to be. I clocked out with 66.85 hours this week. It was a STRUGGLE because I was so tired by Sunday. Sunday’s are usually my I wrapped up week three by spending 8 hours behind my favorite bar and 7.5 hours serving around it.organization days, but I had a lot on my to do list. I still needed to drive back to my parents. Meal prep, go to the gym, and get some stuff done for work.

Good News for the week: My dad fixed my brakes on my Jeep, so all is great!

I am finding it harder and harder to stay motivated to keep up with my writing. I would rather be writing than working a billion hours, but I am also working some extra hours to pay off my debts. I can’t wait to get into a routine where everything actually works out, but I am slowly working on it!

This week I learned a lot about staying organized and prioritizing when it does come to my free time. I also learned that after 13 hours at work, I have very little will power when it comes to food.

SPENT DURING WEEK FOUR:

Super Saver Groceries   $  31.15

Sam’s Club Gas:       $ 25.00

Additional Gas: $10.00

Total: 66.15 Spent this week

16.15 Over Budget

Paid Off:

Student Loan #1: $104

Jeep: $77.88

Total Debt Paid Off This Month: $1,088

Overall Evaluation of Week Three:

Not spending money is becoming harder and harder. I have a list of things that I need to look into purchasing and no money to do so. My dad told me I need new tires and I also need to think about a new Fitbit because my band is breaking.  I took money from my waitressing income to eat at work instead of planning to eat ahead of time.

Hardest Part of Week Four: Planning.

Sunday morning, I deeply considered grabbing breakfast and coffee on my way to my work meeting. I got 4 1/2 hours of sleep and wasn’t in the mood to try to find something to eat in our apartment. Instead, I brewed some coffee and headed to the meeting in hopes that there would be breakfast there for us. There were doughnuts when I got there, which aren’t the healthy option, My new favorite baby goats on our neighbors farm.but they are the free options! I counted it as a win for the morning because I didn’t give in to buying breakfast.

I spent a little more than budgeted on gas this month because I have driven back to my parents twice in the last week or so. It is worth the money spent for a day back on the farm. I got to spend the day with the baby goats, sheep and calves.

Easiest Part of Week Four:

Since I worked so many hours, I didn’t have time to think about finding free entertainment. Work and sleep was my whole week.

Also, I took one of my free afternoons and sold some stuff! I sold $32 worth of old video games that I don’t play anymore. I also took a bunch of clothes to Plato’s Closet, but I only got $10. I need some different ideas on how to sell a ton of clothes.

Goal For Week Four:

Cash out my apps that earn me money. (Ibotta and Pact)

Sell a few books that I have sitting around

Get rid of all my clothes!

Create a “Budget Binder” to stay organized

What are your goals for the next week? I would love to hear all about them!
